Effective date: June 10, 2026
TinySignalsApp (“TinySignals”, “we”, “us”) is a companion app that helps parents of young children log challenging behavior moments, understand patterns and triggers, and get evidence-based next steps. This policy explains what data we collect when you use our website and app, how we use it, and the choices you have — including how to have all of it deleted.
Account data. Your email address, used to sign you in (we send a one-time code — there are no passwords) and to reply when you contact us.
Child profile data you provide. A first name or nickname and an age range for each child you add. We ask for the minimum needed to personalize guidance.
Behavior logs. The incidents you record: what happened, when, the context and triggers you select, and any notes you add.
Voice and video recordings. If you choose to record a moment, the recording is uploaded so it can be analyzed. Recording is always optional and always initiated by you.
Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we only receive confirmation of your subscription status.
Usage data. How you move through the website and app (pages viewed, buttons tapped, device type), collected via Mixpanel and, on our marketing pages, the Meta Pixel. We use this to understand what works and improve the product.
We use your data to provide the service: turning your logs and recordings into analysis, pattern insights, and weekly action plans; signing you in; answering support requests; and processing subscriptions. We also use aggregated usage data to improve TinySignals.
We do notsell your data, and we do not use your child's data for advertising.
The analysis features are powered by third-party AI models. When you submit a log or recording for analysis, its content is sent to our AI processing partner (fal.ai) to generate the structured insights you see in the app. These partners process the data on our behalf to deliver the analysis and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Only service providers that help us run TinySignals, each receiving only what they need:
We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the safety of a child or another person.
TinySignals is built for parents and caregivers — not for children. Accounts may only be created by adults, and all information about a child is provided by their parent or guardian. We never collect data directly from children, and we never use child-related data for advertising or profiling beyond the insights shown to you in the app.
We keep your data for as long as you have an account, so your history and insights remain available to you.
You can ask us to delete everything at any time. Send a request through our support form and we will permanently delete your account and all data linked to it — child profiles, behavior logs, recordings, analysis results, and your support history. Deletion is completed within 30 days and is irreversible. Payment records held by Stripe may be retained where the law requires it (e.g. tax and accounting rules).
Depending on where you live (e.g. under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the support form — we respond to every request.
Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and sign-in uses one-time codes instead of passwords, so there is no password of yours to leak. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat the sensitivity of family data as a design constraint, not an afterthought.
We use browser local storage to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies/identifiers (Mixpanel, Meta Pixel) to measure usage of our website. Analytics respects your browser's “Do Not Track” setting.
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
